How It Works

Simply connect the Tru-Cuff to the inflation port of the endotracheal tube or laryngeal mask and inflate the cuff until the indicator reaches the green pressure zone (18-26 +/-2 cm H2O). The clear visual feedback helps ensure the cuff is inflated within the recommended range. The red zone (40-60 cmH2O) indicates that the pressure is too high.

For best results, use on PCV tubes – although also compatible with red rubber ET tubes.

Although supplied as a single-use product, many practices find that, when used in appropriate applications and subject to routine inspection, the product can provide service beyond a single procedure. Users should always assess condition and suitability before reuse.
