2017 sees the introduction of the upgraded B1 Elite series, which includes changes to the entry-level objectives, which now start at Motic's new semi-plan configuration. The illumination has been changed to powerful true 3W LED in order to provide enough light to brightfield, contrast and darkfield applications, all whilst keeping the system cool and well illuminated with steady colour-temperature
