Burtons Air Break Assembly
Each anaesthetic machine will require an air break for use with the AGSS.
The air break eliminates any induced flow from the patient circuit by the negative pressure of the scavenging system.
Unlike a Barnsley receiver, our air break has a visual flow indicator, an important safety feature since the flow of air is a relatively quiet operation and the pump is mounted some distance from the point of use. Air breaks can be wall mounted in close proximity to the AGSS outlets if you choose to have wall mounted anaesthetic machines or mounted on the frame of a mobile anaesthetic machines.
Air breaks comply with BS6834:1987.
