The HU series, refined through three generations of design has an outer diameter of the insertion tube ranging from 9.0FR to 7.5FR, with the world's first 6.3FR approved for clinical surgery. 

It has a working length of 650mm with 2-way rotation, making it the ideal choice for veterinarians. The insertion tube outer diameter for the endoscope is 3.2mm, with a minimum working channel inner diameter of 1.2mm. The imaging quality is at HD resolution (1080p pixels) for crystal-clear visuals to help you navigate challenging procedures. The field of view for the scope is 120°±10%, with a 0° ±10° forward-facing direction of view and a depth of field ranging from 3mm to 50mm.

The BR-HU30 provides high-resolution imaging via the MS-8 Video Processor, ensuring clear, detailed visuals for examinations of the urinary tract and can be used to examine the interior of the kidney, and, using additional accessories, to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The ureteroscope offers exceptional manoeuvrability and access within the urinary tract, minimising patient discomfort. The unit can be used on small animals, wildlife, zoo, avian and exotics. It can be utilised in a mixed practice or even in a remote setting.

The lightweight handle of the unit includes 2 customisable buttons that can be programmed from the all-in-one MS-8 processor to control photographing, videoing, white balance adjustments and graphics freezing with the selected buttons displayed as hotkeys. Weighing less than 300g, the HU series effectively alleviates fatigue for doctors during long surgeries. With standard features such as an adjustable angle knob, 280° up-and-down deflection, 1080P optimised imaging algorithm, and a bullet-shaped design.
There is a manual lever at the base of the handle which controls the bending section and the distal tip of the scope for precise navigation. The high-quality medical-grade patient tube is equipped with an integrated camera and LED light source. These components deliver high-definition visuals, transmitting image data to the MS-8 Image Processor via a 2500mm connecting wire. 

Every ureteroscope is packed in sterilised, single-use packaging with the date of manufacture and expiration date clearly indicated on the label, ensuring an aseptic shelf life of 3 years. This minimises cross-contamination risks, enhancing safety for both patient and practitioner.
