Suitable for vets, nurses, and other clinical professionals, the webinars cover a wide range of topics, including anaesthetic monitoring and patient ventilation. New subjects are added on a regular basis.
The webinars and associated materials have been designed and written by our lead clinical professionals Keith Simpson MRCVS and Karen Heskin MRCVS, who have decades of collective experience spanning general and referral practice, research, development, and education. The webinars will be presented by Karen.
Capnography is routine in many practices and is a key element in effective patient monitoring.
In this live webinar, we will discuss the physiology of carbon dioxide (CO2) and the effects of hypo-and hypercapnia on our patients; review rebreathing and how to identify and manage it; discuss the management of abnormal CO2 levels; and we will troubleshoot some common abnormal waveforms. Tips and tricks for getting the best out of your capnograph will also be included.
Capnography is so much more than numbers and waveforms…
