What will this webinar cover?
This live webinar, focusing on the SAV04 Small Animal Ventilator, provides a foundational understanding of mechanical ventilation and how to use the SAV04. It is not only ideal for those new to SAV04 and mechanical ventilation, but also serves as a refresher for veterinarians and nurses familiar with this versatile ventilator. 

The session will discuss when and why we artificially ventilate patients and examines the physiological processes behind both spontaneous breathing and mechanical IPPV.

Understanding ventilation terminology and cycling modes will allow us to review the SAV04, consider its controls, which patients it is suitable for, and follow a step-by-step approach to preparing and using this pressure cycling ventilator. How to introduce a patient to mechanical IPPV and weaning them off a ventilator will also be covered.

Whilst focussing on SAV04, this webinar is also suitable for users of the SAV03 Small Animal Ventilator.
