Designed to be quiet, yet effective, this forced air-warming system heats blankets quickly.
The Cocoon warming system offers a great user experience thanks to its lightweight, compact, and sturdy design.
The user-friendly unit is equipped with two fan speeds, two flow rate levels, and four temperature settings, all controlled by simple and clear push buttons on the front. Despite its quiet operation, the DC motor provides the blower with all the power it needs.
Combined with Cocoon blankets, it provides quick, effective warming without blowing excess air around the surgical site. The blankets are made from soft, comfortable, and lightweight non-woven fabric, that is completely latex-free, and its unique perforations provide uniform air distribution without the risk of residue.
Universal inlet port ties on each blanket ensure that the hose remains firmly in place and the strong fabric allows the use of the same blanket on the patient, from pre-warming, through surgery, to recovery. The blankets are designed for single use and can be quickly disposed of after surgery. They are also easy to store and transport, making them the ideal solution for any environment. Some blankets have multiple inlet port locations for the best access. (See below for details on each blanket).
